Step into our world of butter, flour, and whimsy. At Kouign, we bake like time doesn’t exist, in small batches, with seasonal flavors, and with the kind of care that only comes from doing what you love.

We’re not open every day (just Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!) and that’s the charm. Each bake feels intentional, fleeting, and worth savoring.

Mardi Gras King Cake Preorders

Celebrate Mardi Gras with a classic King Cake, baked fresh and ready to share. Each cake comes with a traditional bébé and festive Mardi Gras beads, because no King Cake celebration is complete without a little fun.


Pickup: Monday, February 16th, from 9–12pm.

Valentine’s Preorders Are Closed

The good news is that we’ll still have Valentine’s Day boxes, pastries, treats, and goodies available for retail pickup during regular business hours on Valentine’s Day.

Meet the Kouign Team

Chelsea Tripp founded Kouign Bakery with the belief that pastries should feel joyful, imaginative, and thoughtfully made. Trained in top kitchens across the country, she brought her craft, and her curiosity back home to Wallingford in 2021.
